The Nuaulu are a Melanesian people that live in the jungles of the island of Seram. They are known as headhunters, with the last case being in relatively recent times.
They are located in Seram, Indonesia.
They live a hunter-gatherer existence in the jungles of their island home. The women forage locally, but the men undertake hunting trips that may last a week.
The Nuaulu practice ancestor worship and make sacrifices for hunting success. They also believe their ancestors manifest as certain animals and will therefore not harm individuals of that species.
South Nuaulu people need a spiritual hunger that will drive them to the cross and the empty grave.
Pray that soon, Nuaulu family leaders will put all their faith in Jesus Christ, and others will follow their lead.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to anoint many for service.
Pray for their families and churches to be overwhelmed with the goodness of God.
