Introduction / History

The Tajio people are primarily found in the central part of the island of Sulawesi in the Ampibabo, Tinombo, and Sindue subdistricts. The elevations there range from 0 to 900 meters. Their language is Tajio.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Most Tajio are farmers growing rice, copra, cocoa, and rattan. Their diet usually consists of rice and small fish. The area is accessible by generally good roads.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Over three-fourths of the Tajios are Sunni Muslims. They also believe in traditional belief.

What Are Their Needs?

All they have are Bible portions, some gospel recordings, and a couple more gospel materials.

Prayer Points

Pray for power encounters that will ensure they know that Jesus Christ is the sovereign King of kings.
Pray for Tajio elders and imams to have dreams and visions of the risen Christ.
Pray for the JESUS Film to soon be available and widely used.
